RELAY FOR RECESS : Great job WES CUBS!! You guys raised lots of money for the Relay for Recess – American Cancer Society!! Many, many laps were walked/ran and we had a great time raising money for a great cause. Thank you to ALL who supported our students! We look forward to an even

bigger event next year!

OPEN HOUSE:  Thank you to all the parents, families and community members that came to WES to see the amazing classrooms and projects and for joining us for a fabulous Taco Bar Dinner.

All middle school students participated in the 3rd Annual WES Science Fair on Wednesday night. Thank you to our community judges for taking time out of their evening to be a part of this event. Great work WES students, you did an outstanding job.

On Tuesday night WES's 5th grade band, middle school band and choir celebrated their Spring Concert. Thank you Mr. Russell and music students for an amazing performance. Link to hear the Concert coming soon.

AMAZING STUDENTS: Serenity Ortiz (8th grade) has come up with a fantastic idea to positively recognize our students

at WES – She’s come up with a project called “Say It” which is an anti-bullying campaign that

encourages students of WES to write positive messages on Post It notes to display throughout the school. Way to go Serenity – you’re “positively” showing fantastic Cub Character and we are

SO proud of the campaign that you have started.

Cub Character Focus

Integrity:  Doing what is right, fair and honorable

The supreme quality for leadership is unquestionably integrity. Without it, no real success is possible, no matter whether it is on a section gang, a football field, in an army, or in an office.
