SERVICE~May 14-18The character word for this week is Service. SERVICE means the action of helping or doing work for someone. If you see someone on campus or at a school event that displays SERVICE please jot it down and put it in the library lock box. There are people at WES that are constantly demonstrating this Character Trait....you know who you are. Integrity: Dante Parham showed integrity when he told the truth, even though he thought his friend would get angry with him. ~Mrs. C Mary Guerra showed integrity when she was completely honest and truthful even when it was a very uncomfortable situation. ~Mrs. C Respect: During the snow storm, Vincent McCracken volunteered to shovel Vickie's ramp to her room. He did an awesome job and Vickie is very thankful.~Vickie Eddy CARING: "I saw Amber being caring. She saw a student drop a pencil and she picked it up and took it to the student who dropped it."~Joyce "Genna and Rachel showed caring by helping Mrs. Blankenship down the icy stairs so she wouldn't fall--they were concerned for her safety." COURAGE: "Felicity showed courage, her friend was going to get in trouble for something she did not do and Felicity stuck up for her and told the truth." Vision and MissionOUR VISION WUESD is committed to providing an educational environment that supports, encourages, and challenges each student and staff to strive for academic excellence, mutual respect and responsible citizenship.
